They chose Aspen Colorado because of their fond memories of Aspen winter vacations together.  The St Regis was another easy choice for them, they love the personal service and luxury accommodations.  If you’re a foodie you will know exactly why they chose the Chef’s Club by Food & Wine for their reception! 

The band came in from Savannah, they were so much fun.  They played during the ceremony and then lead everyone to the reception, it was such a festive intro into the evening.  When I met with Claudia and Sam during our wedding consultation, they were very excited about the food they had chosen for their wedding.  We talked about the cake and one interesting item that I had never heard of, it was cookie dough wrapped in wonton and fried.  They said I HAD TO try it, and boy did I.  It was the best dessert ever. 

I don’t think I’ll ever forget this wedding, the couple and their friends made me feel like an old friend and that is one of the biggest reasons why I love my job, we were laughing a lot throughout the day, so many interesting things happened that I won’t mention here. Hee hee

Winter weddings are spectacular in Aspen.  This winter wedding at the Sundeck is an inspiration for those planning a luxurious, romantic, mountaintop wedding.  Coordinated and designed by Lisa Vorce Event Design & Production.    The Little Nell’s Sundeck was transformed over many days to create this beautiful setting.  Local vendors included:  Bluebird Productions, Halcyon Productions – Lighting and Audio, Aspen Music Connections, Full Circle, and Designworks.    My favorite touches were the fur pillows with feathers to throw when the bride and groom kiss.  The hot adult coffee and cider drinks were a great idea as guests unload the gondola.  Inside the Sundeck was incredible, the ambient lighting changed throughout the night to create the mood.
