Claudia and Sam celebrated their wedding vows with an intimate wedding with family and friends at the St Regis in Aspen, Colorado for their ceremony, reception and accommodations.
They chose Aspen Colorado because of their fond memories of Aspen winter vacations together. The St Regis was another easy choice for them, they love the personal service and luxury accommodations. The band came in from Savannah, they were so much fun. They played during the ceremony and then lead everyone to the reception, it was such a festive intro into the evening. When I met with Claudia and Sam during our wedding consultation, they were very excited about the food they had chosen for their wedding. We talked about the cake and one interesting item that I had never heard of, it was cookie dough wrapped in wonton and fried. They said I HAD TO try it, and boy did I. It was the best dessert ever.
I don’t think I’ll ever forget this wedding, the couple and their friends made me feel like an old friend and that is one of the biggest reasons why I love my job, we were laughing a lot throughout the day, so many interesting things happened that I won’t mention here. Hee hee
